Mirantis partners with Germany-based BI2run for sales and support of Mirantis Container Runtime
With the growth of cloud native technologies, thousands of organizations are using containers with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms and other enterprise software tools. There is an urgent need right now among Microsoft customers who run containers using “Windows Server with Containers” VM images or the DockerMsftProvider API. On May 1st, 2023, Microsoft discontinued these products and stopped offering container runtime support and security updates, which were delivered by Mirantis. While existing instances of the affected images will continue to function, support and updates now are only available through a subscription to MCR.
